What role does the mid layer play in the layering system?

The mid layer is the core of outdoor warmth, trapping body heat and managing moisture. High-loft fleece stores still air for efficient heat retention while remaining breathable, preventing overheating during motion and chill at rest.

How thick should the mid layer fleece be?

Choose by intensity: high-activity sports favor lightweight thin fleece (e.g. SuperStretch™) for moisture dispersal; low-intensity or extreme cold suits high-loft thick fleece (e.g. Thermal Lock™) for maximum heat retention.

How do mid and base layers work together?

Base layer wicks moisture while mid layer traps heat. Together they achieve dynamic balance — breathable during movement, insulating at rest.

Will the mid layer get soaked after intense exercise?

Super Stretch™ moisture-wicking fleece continuously transfers moisture outward, dispersing and evaporating within 5 minutes. Wet-state warmth retention stays above 80%, preventing mid-layer saturation from compromising insulation.

Does the mid layer need stretch?

Yes. Outdoor sports involve extensive limb movement. SuperStretch™ 4-way stretch ensures the mid layer never restricts freedom during climbing, skiing and other dynamic actions.

What are the advantages of a wool mid layer?

FlexiNovaWool™ uses nylon core-spun wool tech, combining natural wool warmth with nylon durability and stretch — luxe touch and outstanding longevity for premium outdoor and urban commute scenarios.

How is the autumn-winter static issue solved?

Aether Shell targets static and stuffiness in dry seasons. Anti-static fibers and lofty structure prevent skin cling and dust attraction for unrestricted comfort.
